Dear Readers,

It is very glad to say that a long awaited monthly social magazine from Rajasthan has been released from Jaipur (Rajasthan). The magazine was released on 17 May 2011 at Samuhik Vivah Sammelan at Asthal (Jamwa Ramgarh), Jaipur, Raj.

You will find it here on internet by the 18 May 2011 onwards.

The magazine is published by Sh. R.P. Sharma (Jangid) of founder of very first website of Jangid Samaj www.jangidbrahminsamaj.com.

This is our first effort to step in print media after many successful years of release of www.jangidbrahminsamaj.com. We want to make it a different from traditional magazines.

We hope it will be helpful to community in many ways same as website i.e. social development, upliftment of status of society with qualitative articles, news and educational, professional, economical and many more issues you want to like to read.

Vishwakarma

Vishwakarma


Vishwakarmas who are also known as Vishwabrahmins and they are a combination of five categories of craftsmen (panchamukhi) namely

(1) Kammari (Blacksmith who make all Iron made articles, weapons and machinary, they are the mother/superior of all other craftsman). 

(2) Vadrangi/Vadla (Carpenters). 

(3) Ausula (Goldsmiths). 

(4) Shilpi (sculpturist who makes all kinds idols of god) 

(5) Kanchara (Bronzsmith who makes all bronz related items including idol of god).
